個性の異なる3人の若者が登場するファンタジー。彼らは物語の中で、読者が自分を重ねやすそうな日常の状況（いじめ、恋愛、家族関係など）と向き合い、自分の感情と戦うことを覚えていく。彼らはふたつの世界の分岐点でトラブルに巻きこまれていくが、それはあらかじめ直面することが運命づけられていたことのようだった。読者対象は12歳以上。若者のうちのひとり、パブロの1人称の、その年頃の若者らしい語りは親近感があり、読者は主人公たちの願望、不安、惧れに共感し、たやすく感情移入していけるだろう。
