SYNOPSIS

In Paris, a couple is about to marry in the spring of 1940, but the Wehrmacht invades France, and he, an exiled Spanish Republican, is detained by the Gestapo and sent to Mauthausen concentration camp. She collaborates with the Allied secret services, prepared to do whatever it takes to save her fiancé’s life. Among them, a German engineer who has given up his job in Berlin so as not to collaborate with the Nazis, spends his time travelling Europe with a violin under his arm. Very soon, these three characters’ lives will be forever intertwined. El violinista de Mauthausen is their story. The three principal settings are German-occupied Paris, Berlin in ruins after the Second World War, and Mauthausen concentration camp, where a story unfolds that mixes intrigue, adventure, espionage, history and romance
