バルセロナ大学のESCAC（カタルーニャ映画視聴覚上級学校）の演出専門科を卒業し、マドリードに映画製作会社ラ・エクストランヘラを共同設立。ESCACでの学びに加え、奨学金を得てキューバのEICTV（映画テレビ国際学校）に交換留学し、様々なワークショップへも参加して、脚本の分野を究めた。基本的に短編映画とビデオクリップの世界で、形式の異なる作品を演出してきた。

Diplômée dans la spécialité de réalisation à l'ESCAC (Université de Barcelone) et cocréatrice de "L'Etrangère" à Madrid. Après son passage par l'ESCAC, Laura a approfondi le domaine de l'écriture de scénario grâce à une bourse d'échange à l'EICTV et divers ateliers.

Laura Calavia Safont studied Film Directing at the Cinema and Audiovisual School of Catalonia (ESCAC). She is a co-creator of "La Extranjera" in Madrid. After the ESCAC, Laura studied screenwriting thanks to an exchange fellowship at EICTV and various workshops.

Laura Barbero Miguel (Salamanca, 1976) has a university diploma in Nursing from the Universidad Pontificia in Salamanca, a diploma in Public Health from the National Health School, and in Company Nursing from the National School for Medicine at Work.
