Laura Barbero Miguel (Salamanca, 1976) has a university diploma in Nursing from the Universidad Pontificia in Salamanca, a diploma in Public Health from the National Health School, and in Company Nursing from the National School for Medicine at Work. In addition, she confirms an extensive complementary training in the public health and education sectors.

She has work experience as a nurse at all levels of health assistance, from primary care to special hospital care services. She has also worked in the areas of private health and geriatric nursing. In addition, she has extensive teaching experience as a trainer in the specialities of auxiliary home care and geriatrics, and as an associate at the University of Alcalá.
