Luis Álvarez González wurde am 28.07.1952 in Jerez de la Frontera geboren. Er war 35 Jahre lang als Lehrer tätig, zuerst für Mathematik, später für Sport. Derzeit arbeitet er mit der Fußballdelegation von Jerez als stellvertretender Delegierter des Trainerverbands zusammen.
