Maite Carranza (Barcelona, 1958), is a scriptwriter and author and has published more than fifty titles, winning important literary prizes, including the Premio Cervantes for children, the Premio de la Crítica Serra d'Or, the Premio EDEBÉ for Children's Literature and the one for Youth Literature

Maite Carranza (Barcelona, 1958), roteirista e escritora, já publicou mais de cinquenta títulos e ganhou importantes prêmios literários, entre eles o Prêmio Cervantes Chico, o Prêmio da Crítica Serra d’Or, o Prêmio EDEBÉ de Literatura Infantil e o de Literatura Juvenil, além do Prêmio Nacional.

Geboren 1958 in Barcelona. Studium der Geografie und Geschichte. Neben ihrer Lehrtätigkeit widmet sie sich dem Schreiben von Literatur und Drehbüchern, vor allem für das Fernsehen.
