PUV is the publishing imprint of the University of Valencia, the third in Spain for its number of teachers and students. This is why academic books derived from research rank high in its activities, as do works of general interest, addressed at a broad reading public with cultural concerns. One of its editorial lines consists of providing the university community with teaching manuals and of spreading the results of research in the different areas of knowledge.
