Xía Tenzin, a giant who lives at the top of Tibet, wants to find his father, who left the village when Xía was still a child and never came back. Xía is determined to repeat the trip his father wanted to take, travelling thousands of kilometres, from his village to the sea, always following the Yellow River. In this long adventure, Xía tenzin will face danger and meet different people, who will help him to find his own identity.
