Karlos Arguiñano has gained a reputation for his work in promoting good cooking over the last twenty years. Very well-known due to his television programme, with over 5,000 episodes, and as one of the group of chefs who founded the New Basque Cookery movement (Arzak, Subijana, Berasategui and others) which revolutionised the gastronomic panorama in Spain at the beginning of the 80s.
