Graduated in Philosophy and Educational Sciences. A teacher at  Arcebispo Xelmirez I High School.
For nine years he worked in the development and implementation of the First Xacobeo Plan as Head of the Department of Culture and Programmes of the Government of Galicia. During this period, he toured several countries to promote the Way and completed the maps of the Jacobean routes.
As an expert in the Way of St. James, he has published more than half a dozen books. His other areas of activity are research and rural development.
