Ana Isabel Rodríguez Sánchez has a degree in law and is a practicing lawyer, a specialist in administrative, civil and criminal law, and an expert in family mediation. She has contributed to several short story collections, and her first novel, Azaría (2015, Ediciones del Serbal) is a noir novel set in rural Spain in the twenties of Miguel Primo de Rivera's dictatorship. The author has worked for several years with the cultural magazine Aladar, El Correo de Andalucía, and with online magazines Las Críticas, Moonmagazine, and Granite and Rainbow. She currently participates on the radio programme La tarde contigo at Canal Extremadura, in the section dedicated to women forgotten despite their interesting lives, and on the programme Aquí no hay nada que ver.
