Rocío Araya é uma artista plástica basca. Vive e trabalha na França como ilustradora e pintora. Nasceu em Bilbao em 1982. Estudou Belas Artes na Universidade do País Basco, e em 2010 fez um MBA em Educação.

1978年ブエノスアイレス生まれ。広告グラフィックデザインを学んだが、本当にやりたかったのは子どもの本のイラストレーション。ワークショップや講座に参加し、そこでアーティストとしての方向が決まった。アルゼンチン内外で出版された本のイラストを描いてきた。ブエノスアイレスのスペース、ムンドス・イルストラドスで子ども向けイラストレーションの講師を務める。
