アルバロ・デルオルモ（1982年マドリード生まれ）は小さい頃に、あるかもしれない宇宙の謎についての、まったくの作り話集めた雑誌を書いていた。ピアニストでチェス愛好家である彼は、自分が全く理解できない科学や言語に関する書籍に好んで目を通す。工学を学んだが、後年哲学を勉強し始めた。15M（スペインの怒れる若者たちの非暴力運動）のお蔭で、今ではエルンスト・ブロックが言っていた通り、希望とは思想を主導する原則とみなしている。以来私たちが孤独を感じる理由などないと信じている。

Álvaro del Olmo (Madrid, 1982) schrieb schon als kleiner Junge Zeitschriften über vermeintliche Geheimnisse des Universums, die er selbst erfand. Er ist ein dilettantischer Pianist und Schachspieler, blättert gerne durch Bücher über Wissenschaften oder Sprachen, die er überhaupt nicht versteht.

Álvaro Cunqueiro (Mondoñedo, 1911 - Vigo, 1981) devoted himself from a very young age to literature and journalism. His work covers all genres and the widest range of subjects, from poetry to cookery books, via fiction and drama.
