Faith a 12 ans et habite en Asie, le premier monde. Son but est de savoir pourquoi sa mère et les autres femmes du voisinage s'inquiètent tellement quand elles ont de la visite. Faith a 14 ans et vivote en Europe, le tiers monde.

フェイスは12歳。第1世界、アジアに住んでいる。目的は、人が訪ねてきたとき、母や近所の女たちがひどく落ち着かなくなる理由を調べること。フェイスは14歳。第3世界、ヨーロッパで貧しい暮らしをしている。目的は剣闘士の学校でなんとかやっていくこと。彼女は許しがたい犯罪により、その学校に売られてきた。フェイスは16歳。生き延びている……、今のところ。現在の目的はただひとつ、復讐することだ。

Faith is twelve years old and lives in Asia, in the First World. Her goal is to find out why her mother and the other women in the neighbourhood get so worked up when anybody visits.
