Dory Sontheimer graduated in Pharmacy and Optometry at the University of Barcelona and worked as a pharmacist and businesswoman, until in 2002, after the death of her mother, she discovered seven mysterious boxes in the attic of her old room that revealed an astonishing story.
Zel hides her list of forbidden wishes in a drawer, out of her mother’s sight. She is turning eighteen, and hopes that her mother will finally let her go out into the world so she can run cross country, see the ocean, and smile at some stranger.
