Maison fondée en 1982. Elle mise sur la diffusion de la culture, du monde universitaire, des nouveaux auteurs, des classiques... et, pour cela, elle s'est créé le slogan Culture et racines. Culture sans frontières.

Fundada em 1982. A aposta foi em difundir a cultura, o mundo universitário, os novos autores, os clássicos... e, por isso, foi criado o lema, Cultura com raízes. Cultura sem fronteiras. No mesmo ano de sua fundação, criou a Associação de Editores da Andaluzia, que ainda hoje está atuante.
