Emilio Urberuaga was born in Madrid in 1954, and worked as a printer and engraver before dedicating himself to the illustration of children’s books. His work, full of fantasy and humour, is recognised nationally and internationally in the world of illustration.

Emilio Sánchez Mediavilla (Santander, 1979) ist Journalist und Mitbegründer des Verlags Libros del K.O. Er hat für die Agentur EFE, die Zeitung La Opinión de A Coruña und Condé Nast Traveler gearbeitet. Gelegentlich hat er auch für El País, Vanity Fair oder Altaïr geschrieben.
