Hiares was founded to create didactic guides to provide support for teachers. Its editorial scope covers art, history, geography, science, children’s stories and youth literature. Today, its collections are reviewed and updated in both print and digital form.

フアン・エルナス（1975年ヒホン⽣まれ）はイラストレーター、グラフィックデザイナー。出版や広告や演劇の分野で、国内外のクライアント向けに絵を描き、国内外で賞を受けてきた。講座やトークやワークショップをし、アストゥリアス・デザイン・イノベーション・テクノロジー⼤学で、絵画の講師を務める。ファティマ・フェルナンデス（1972年プエルト・デ・ベガ⽣まれ）は、カスティーリャ-ラマンチャ⼤学の美術学部卒業。中学⾼校の教師。児童⽂学の専⾨家で、20以上のアンソロジーで執筆し、国内外で多数の賞を受けている。作品は10⾔語に翻訳されている。
