Jaume Benavente i Cassanyes (Barcelona, 1958) ist ein katalanischer Schriftsteller. Er verbrachte seine frühe Kindheit in Brasilien, wohin seine Familie ausgewandert war. Er studierte Kunst und arbeitete unter anderem als Zeichner, Hilfsbibliothekar, Dokumentalist und Konservator in Museen.
