フアン・ドミンゲス＝バンダラはセビーリャ⼤学⽣物学科を卒業し、スコットランドの⾼名なロスリン・インスティテュートで史上初のクローン動物、⽺のジョリー創造者のひとりの指導を受けて博士号を取得。2001年から⽶国マイアミに居住し、糖尿病の細胞治療開発で知られる糖尿病治療研究所で⺟細胞研究室を率いている。研究の傍ら精⼒的に啓蒙活動もしており、CNNやNBCを始めとする⽶国内外のメディアで多数のインタビューを受けた。

Juan Domínguez Bendala hat an der Universität Sevilla Biologie studiert und am berühmten Roslin-Institut in Schottland seine Doktorarbeit gemacht, und zwar unter der Leitung eines der Schöpfer des Schafes Dolly, dem ersten geklonten Tier aller Zeiten.

A graduate in Biology from the Universidad de Sevilla, Juan Domínguez Bendala was awarded a PhD by the prestigious Roslin Institute in Scotland under the supervision of one of the creators of Dolly the sheep, the first cloned animal in history.
