JUAN KRUZ IGERABIDE SARASOLA (Aduna, Guipúzcoa, 1956) a été professeur dans le primaire et le secondaire pendant plusieurs années, puis à l'Université du Pays basque dans la spécialité de la philologie basque.

For many years Juan Kruz Igerabide Sarasola (Aduna, Guipúzcoa,1956) was a teacher, in primary and secondary schools, and later, at the País Vasco University specialising in Basque Language studies.

Among his most noted works are a children’s book on the Aztec culture and an Epithalamion poetry book (literary genre rarely dealt with in the West, whose reference is found in the Book of Psalms of King Solomon in the Bible).

作者は教師であり、なおかつ教育学者やアクティブ・ラーニング専門家という肩書きも有する。全ての教育レベル、またあらゆる教育現場で実際に教職者として活躍し、学校改革や教育イノベーションに関する研究で評価を得ている。現在、彼が特に関心を抱いているのは、公平性や社会正義を模索する学校および教室に変化をもたらす教育改革の持つ力だ。作者はPBLを、教育改革を成功に導くフレームワークと考え、このテーマで現在最も広く読まれているいくつかの文献を記してきた。その実績を認められ、スペイン、メキシコ、アルゼンチン、ペルー、チリ、プエルトリコでワークショップやコンファレンスを開催するに至っている。
