Née à Bilbao en 1977. Durant son enfance, elle a passé beaucoup de temps à la campagne et à la montagne, entre le Pays Basque, le nord de Burgos et la Galice.

Born in Bilbao in 1977, during her childhood she spent a great deal of time in the countryside and in the mountains between the Basque Country, the north of Burgos, and Galicia.

Nascida em Bilbau em 1977, durante a infância, passou muito tempo no campo e na serra, entre o País Basco, o norte de Burgos e a Galiza. Ela estudou Medicina Veterinária e logo após se formar foi voluntária em um centro de resgate de animais selvagens na Venezuela.
