グロビートたちは、無邪気な思いつきで、ときに問題をひき起こしもするが、愛情深く、感じがよくやさしい魅力的な生き物だ。親切で気高いパプリニアたちは、グロビートたちを尊敬していて、トレメンドたちが叱ることで秩序を整えようとすると口をはさむ。ある午後、グロビートは友だちの家にホットチョコレートとチュロスを食べにいく。けれども、ひとりではなく、ライオンの赤ちゃんを腕に抱いていくことにした。そこで騒動になり……。
