2011年春に政党の閉鎖性に対抗して起こったスペインの若者たちの抗議デモ、15-Mから10年を記念して出版された。物語はデモの１週間前に始まる。しばらく世間から離れて入院し、退院したばかりの主人公のモイセス・マルメロは、勤務していた会社はどうなっているか確かめようと出かけ、最後にデモの参加者が溢れるプエルタ・デル・ソル広場にたどりつく。章を追うごとに、当時のマドリード、そしてスペインの姿の忠実でユーモラスな描写へと変貌していく本書。
