Doutor em Filosofia pela Universidade Complutense de Madrid (2004) e Bacharel em Língua e Literatura Alemã pela Universidade de Barcelona (1985). Professor de Filosofia nos Institutos de Ensino Médio de Barcelona e Madrid de 1977 a 2010. Diretor do Instituto durante os cursos de 1981 a 1983.

Luis Leante, geboren 1963 in Caravaca de la Cruz (Murcia). Er studierte Klassische Philologie und war 20 Jahre lang als Gymnasiallehrer tätig. Heute lehrt er an der Filmhochschule des Filmzentrums Ciudad de la Luz in Alicante.

Luis Leante was born in Caravaca de la Cruz (Murcia) in 1963. He graduated in Classical Languages and worked as a high school teacher for twenty years. He currently teaches at the Ciudad de la Luz Film School in Alicante. He has published novels for both children and adults.
