シェニアは、医学部に入りたくて、よい成績をとろうと頑張っているのだが、最近成績がふるわない。恋をしたからだ。しかも、相手はそこらにいる男子ではなく幽霊だ。一度だけインターネットの中で出会い、本好き同士、意気投合したのだった。彼女の気持ちは決まっているが、バーチャルな恋人が先の約束はできないという言うため、彼女は不意打ちをかけて驚かせてやろうと、手に入るわずかなデータをもとにして調査を開始する。そして、わかったのは、写真も名前も何もかもが嘘だということだった。
