Pablo Aranda ist Diplom-Filologe in Hispanistik und unermüdlicher Reisender. Neben anderen Tätigkeiten hat er als Monitor für Menschen mit geistiger Behinderung und als  Erzieher für Jugendliche im Strafvollzug gearbeitet und an der Universität von Oran, Algerien Spanischunterricht erteilt.
