Eduardo Mendicutti

Eduardo Mendicutti (Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz), 1948) is the author of more than a dozen books, all published to great public and critical acclaim, translated into numerous languages and winners of prizes such as the Café Gijón, the Premio de la Crítica in Andalucía and the Sésamo. Two of his novels, 'El palomo cojo' and 'Los novios búlgaros' inspired notable feature-length films directed by Jaime de Armiñán and Eloy de la Iglesia, respectively. His entire oeuvre was awarded the 2012 Nino Gennaro prize in Italy.
