Manuel Ramos Ramos was born in Seville in 1974 and has always been insatiably curious when it comes to studying and experimenting with anything that captures his imagination. He has written and directed six short films, winning prestigious prizes including the RTVA Andalusian audiovisual project prize and a nomination for the Academy of Andalusian Cinema’s Carmen awards. He has conducted workshops alongside notable directors including Benito Zambrano, Antonio Cuadri, Pablo Berger, Gracia Querejeta, Theo Court and Fernando Franco. He has also led two international workshops at the prestigious San Antonio de los Baños International School of Film and Television in Cuba. He has published four books embracing diverse genres including historical novels, short stories, micro-fiction and flamenco novels.
