Xènia Viladàs is a consultant, a graduate in Economics from the University of Barcelona and a MBA (Design Management) from the University of Westminster (London). She began her career in the textiles sector before joining BCD (Barcelona Centro de Disseny), where she was first assistant director, and then director general. After a period at the Elisava design school, she moved to the Sociedad Estatal para el Desarrollo del Deeiño y la Inovación (State Society for the Development of Design and Innovation: DDI) as a delegate consultant and presently acts as a freelance consultant in Design Management, a task which she combines with teaching, writing and giving conferences.
