The problems Paula tried to leave behind her when she went to Paris are still awaiting her on her return and it won't be at all easy to leave them behind her. There will be new amorous entanglements and disillusionment, to which will be added an unforgivable error the heroine in the 'city of love' may commit. But Paula is not the centre of it all: the rest of the 'Sugus' are also there, and take a greater part in this novel, scattered with lies, betrayal and the really serious problems of adolescent life.
