In summer 2011, Pol Bársac climbs off the balcony and escapes from the police; they want to arrest him for sabotage during the Indignants demonstrations. Due to a strange physical phenomenon, Pol is transported to another dimension, to a fantastic universe full of magnificent castellated cities, wondrous creatures and leafy forests, which seems oddly familiar. To survive in this world he will have to take on the personality of a mythical being, Kardavan, responsible for saving its inhabitants who a are threatened by a wicked plague. He will meet Lia, a princess who will accompany him on his mission and with whom he will live a passionate love story. They will both have to overcome difficult tests, which will change their personality and will lead them to discover a sense of faithfulness, friendship, bravery and passion.
