Luna Miguel

Luna Miguel (Alcalá de Henares, 1990) has lived in Barcelona since 2011. She works as a copywriter and editor at PlayGround and has translated authors such as Marcel Schwob, Arthur Rimbaud and Tracy K. Smith; she has also coordinated the production of several anthologies in the last few years. In her guise as a journalist she has written articles for El País, Nylon, Público, Jot Down and S Moda. As an author she has published numerous books of poetry ("Estar enfermo"[Being Unwell], "Poetry is not dead", "Pensamientos estériles" [Sterile Thoughts], "La tumba del mariner" [The Mariner's Tomb], "Los estómagos" [Stomachs] and "El arrecife de las sirenas" [The Siren's Reef]) and of these a selection have been published abroad ("Other Tattoos", "Stomachs", "Musa ammalata" [Sick Muse], "Más allá de la quietud" [Beyond the Stillness] and "Museo Anatómico" [Anatomical Museum]). In terms of prose, she published "Exhumación" [Exhumation](written in collaboration with Antonio J. Rodríguez) and the interesting essay entitled "El dedo: Breves apuntes sobre la masturbación femenina" [The finger: Brief notes on female masturbation].
