Ignacio Peyró (Madrid, 1980) is the author of the encyclopaedia of English culture 'Pompa y circunstancia' ('Pomp and Circumstance') (2014) and has translated and provided forewords for classic authors such as Kipling, Auchincloss and Assía. A contributor to the most important national newspapers, he has been a political and cultural correspondent and provided opinion pieces, while also promoting media outlets such as 'The Objective'. He has worked as a communications advisor and speech writer for various figures in Spanish public life. He is currently the director of the Instituto Cervantes in London. In 2018 he published 'Comimos y bebimos. Notas de cocina y vida' ('Let's Eat and Drink; Notes on Food and Living') with Libros del Asteroide.
