The past few years have seen many remarkable advances against cancer. The accomplishments of the last decade, such as: the development of targeted therapies, the identification of cancer genes, the introduction of computer techniques, and the decline in cancer deaths, have all depended on the knowledge gained in the past. This book was designed to introduce a series of chapters related to CANCER, offering the latest advances in the understanding of the molecular and cellular basis of this complex and multifactor disease.
