Marina Sáez was born in Barcelona. Every weekend she used to wake her parents up with all kinds of drawings. Years later, she is still more or less the same. She likes painting whiskers and colouring outside the lines. And although she arranges them according to colour she is very lazy about sharpening her pencils. At the moment she combines a career in illustration with teaching. She has exhibited her work in Barcelona, Athens, Chicago, and Berlin.
