Sanchita Basu De Sarkar is the owner of the Children's Bookshop in Muswell Hill, which is the oldest children's bookshop in the country. She been a judge for the Costa Book Award, the Branford Boase Award, and the Times/Children House Prize, amongst others. She was named a Bookseller Rising Star in 2018 and was one the Bookseller Bookshop Heroes of 2020. The Children's Bookshop was most recently nominated for Best Children's bookshop in the 2022 British Book Awards.
