Todas las vidas de Eva Ki (‘All the Lives of Eva Ki’) recounts the memories of an author who, above all, does not want to be forgotten. Eva admits that she is able to remember many things from her past lives: a life in Persia during which, over the course of a thousand and one nights, she told stories to her husband, King Sahriyar; her life with her favourite mother, with whom she lived for barely thirteen years; her life in Salem, during which she harboured a passionate love for Elisabeth, who died on the gallows after being accused of witchcraft. Remember: if we don’t want to be forgotten, we must fill our loved ones’ memories with memories. If we don’t want our loved ones to disappear, we must remember them every day. We have to fight so that those we love and want to live forever don’t fade away in our memories.
