'A solas' tells the story of two women who were childhood friends, and who meet again by chance after many years apart. Through the emails they start to send each other they manage to regain the closeness they once had, and end up becoming a real support for one another. Serena, a successful psychologist, is in India finding herself while her husband and children wait happily for her at home. Martina, an unemployed journalist, has just separated from her husband, has a young child, and must rebuild her life starting from zero. Based on a true story and simply told, without realizing it the book invite us into the private lives of two women, each strong in her own way, who manage to face terrible times with hope, and always looking towards the future.
