SYNOPSIS

Sara is sick and tired of being left out of the football team. It’s not fair! Furious, she decides to get her friends (and any other girl from school who wants to be a part of it) to form an all-girl team. And not only that. She means to challenge the boys to a match. Will all this be a fit of temper or will she go through with it?
Sara And The Goal-Scoring Girls is the story of Sara, her passion for football, and the way she persuades her friends to play. All eleven of them share the same school, hobbies, friends and enemies. Learning to play shouldn’t be that difficult. Or should it?

When Eloy, the PE teacher at the girls’ school, affiliates a team to the local football association, Sara is left out, and immediately tries to form her own team. She gets no support from Eloy, who thinks football is a men’s game, but she manages to make him promise that he will accept the all-girl team if they beat the boys on the pitch. The only problem is, most of the girls Sara “enlists” don’t know how to play.
With little time and slender means, but with lots of enthusiasm, Sara and her friends strive to become a good football team. They are helped by Sam and his friends, three rather weird, eccentric boys who, however, have a heart of gold. After beating the boys’ team by the skin of their teeth, Sara and the goal-scoring girls join the league as the school’s official team, along with the boys.
In the league, always supported by Sam and David, their new coach, they learn a few things, come up against fearsome rivals, and strike up unforgettable friendships – in some cases keeping a love-hate relationship with the members of the boys’ team.
