"Skin Inside" is made up of 45 essays, 4 poems and 11 illustrations. It is worth mentioning that the cover was also designed by the author. The book is prefaced by Prof. David Almorza Gomar, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cádiz.
“Skin Inside” is a coffer of metaphors, allegories and nuances that sometimes turns into an oneiric style. It is the becoming of thought which transcends to the reader, who will feel himself referred, understood and heard.
Through a poetic prose and proper verses, the author gives a special importance to the images as a literary resource.
Serenity, calm, harmony… The sensitivity of each fragment and the interaction with the senses are both noteworthy; she plays with thoughts and emotions in a delicious recipe.
The whole of this work points to the future of literature: the mixing of genres, the miscellany that blurs the labels, micro-narrative and the defence of endangered literary genres.
This work has a proper personality; it goes beyond the restricted writing task where literature has been trapped lately.
The visual images, which Rafaela Wait is also the author of, round out her subtle words and make it a definitely artistic product.
