Don Quixote of La Mancha is a novel written by the Spanish author Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra. Originally published as The Ingenious Hidalgo Don Quixote of La Mancha at the beginning of 1605, it is one of the most outstanding works of Spanish and world literature, and one of the most translated. In 1615, a second part was published under the title of The Ingenious Caballero Don Quixote.
