Ivo Cukar lives happily with his large family in Mrs Atril’s house. But everything changes when they are forced to flee their home. On their journey, they will have to overcome terrible adversities before reaching Hotel Apollo, the cockroach paradise. In the hotel they will have to deal with another species of cockroaches, who see themselves as superior and treat the Cukars as invaders. And if that weren't enough, they will soon be forced into exile again.
