It's the start of 2015 and in a short space of time the Valencian political landscape changes more than it has in decades... but the people who live their lives against the tide are neither willing nor able to stop. Marc Sendra, a journalist who has gone freelance after quitting his paper, is writing a novel about a historic attack committed in the very centre of the city. He will do so with the help of old friends such as Llargo, Messié, Father Rafel and the Mythical King, as well as retired detective Toni Butxana, the Torres brothers and former Inspector Tordera. However, they will find themselves facing an entirely unexpected kidnapping and murder. Sendra will try to add these ingredients to the book to generate interest but they will end up as part of his immediate reality.
