SYNOPSIS

When Media Vaca started out back in 1998, the editor was not sure what sort of books they wanted to publish, but it was very clear which ones wouldn't be included: those that had been done a thousand times, like Little Red Riding Hood! However, just as the world turns many times, there will now also be a Media Vaca Riding Hood. But this is not just one more version, but rather twenty one: twenty one different stories based on the classic tale written by Perault, the author of the first known text on this famous character. The project originated in an illustrators' workshop which took place at the Itabashi Museum in Japan in the summer of 2003. The results are as diverse as they are surprising: there are stories which are scary, funny and full of adventures, as well tales of ghosts, love and gastronomy.
