Saying publicly, on television, that she was on the verge of suicide provokes a reaction from her friends and acquaintances that surprises Carme. They call her brave. She doesn’t think so, just that she needs to be able to speak normally about the illness she suffered during a period of her life and which she has now overcome. She also discovers, thanks to confidences shared in private, that a huge number of her acquaintances suffer the blackness that darkens their existence in silence. Nobody speaks openly and she begins a process of reflection on her relationship with depression, the reasons behind her suicidal thoughts and the process of overcoming the illness.
