'El cadete Vargas Llosa' is a book that aims to explain, exonerate, redeem or defend the mark/stamp that was woven in the stories told in 'The City and The Dogs'. Finally, and as a corollaryof reading this work, it could be pointed out that,   defying other people, Vargas Llosa didn't write a novel against the Leoncio Prado schoo, but rather, perhaps without meaning to, he constructed a legend about his loser heroes
