This novel introduces us to a very peculiar girl, Carlota, whom everyone calls ‘Miss Problems’, because, when she was six years old, she decided to devote herself to solving every little problem the children at her school might have: an exploded yoghurt carton in a backpack, a lost sticker, or a neighbour who watches the TV with the volume too loud. There is nothing that Carlota and her helper, Juan, can’t solve with their resourcefulness and ingenuity. Although, as we shall find out in this book, sometimes she has to deal with some very complicated challenges, like the case of Gonzalo, who claims he’s going to be murdered by Tocho. But then there’s the issue with Juan’s grandpa, the only problem Carlota hasn’t been able to solve.
