SYNOPSIS

The first Detective Pepe Carvalho novel. The naked body of a man appears one day on the beach at Vilasser de Mar. The face has been eaten by fish and a tattoo is the only clue : "I was born to revolutionise Hell." Carvalho must discover his identity. A search that takes him from the streets of Barcelona to the canals of Amsterdam in this first novel of one of the most famous genre series in contemporary literature. Created by Manuel Vázquez Montalbán in Yo maté a Kennedy (I Killed Kennedy), this is the first novel in which Carvalho appears as a private detective. In November this year Norma Editorial will be publishing this graphic adaptation undertaken by two veterans of the Spanish scene: Hernán Migoya, script and Bartolomé Seguí (Premio Nacional 2009 for Las serpientes ciegas [The Blind Serpants]) illustration.
