Xenia García (Seville, 1975), has a degree in media studies, a masters in communication and marketing administration and a masters in creative writing from the University of Salamanca. She has published two short story collections, El trigo que cae (‘Falling Wheat’) and Cárceles de azúcar (‘Sugar Prisons’), which won the Premio MonteLeón. Her first novel was awarded the Premio Unicaja de Novela Fernando Quiñones.
